The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed that the suspect in the attack, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was a 42-year-old U.S. citizen and Army veteran from Texas. Jabbar reportedly expressed support for the Islamic State (ISIS) in social media posts and rented the Ford pickup truck used in the attack. He acted alone, police said Thursday.
