Project 2025 Director to Rewrite OK Social Studies Curriculum
Ryan Walters continues his christian nationalist rampage
Oklahoma’s right-wing Superintendent of Schools Ryan Walters announced today that he has assembled a committee to rewrite the social studies curriculum for public schools in that state.
The Committee will be led by Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, who was the principle architect of Project 2025. Dennis Prager from Prager U, whose materials are now being used in Florida schools at the direction of Desantis, will also serve on the committee with right-wing talk show host Steve Deace, christian nationalist pseudohistory author David Barton, and a few others.
Walters said the social studies curriculum in OK schools will receive a “complete overhaul” in order to teach a “proper understanding of the American founding” and “completely eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion ideology from schools.”

AOC Files Impeachment Articles Against Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito
“Nothing less than a constitutional crisis”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) officially filed articles of impeachment in the House against Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito Wednesday. The articles largely center on the conduct of the justices outside of court related to their refusal to disclose gifts from lobbyists, and in Thomas’ case, failure to disclose his wife’s legal interests in cases that were being heard before the court.
