Trump has reached an agreement with the European Union (EU) to increase beef exports to the EU. The deal still needs approval from the European Parliament; but if approved, it will nearly triple the annual duty-free exports of beef over the next seven years.
Trump announced the agreement the Rosevelt Room of the White House surrounded by several cattle ranchers.
“These are indeed patriots,” Trump said. “They’re always targeted first by other countries that try and take advantage of the United states. They’re the first to be targeted, but we take that target off their back.”
