Trump took to Twitter this morning and called for Republicans and Democrats to come together and pass sensible gun legislation. Of course, he tied it to immigration reform; the same ‘nationalist’ policies and rhetoric that contributed greatly to the mass shooting in El Paso.

He then blamed the “Fake News” for contributing “greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years.”

It appeared Trump suggested that if ‘Fake News’ did not do their job and report on the first mass shooting, maybe the second mass shooting would not have occurred.
