Officials horrified after first graders get ahold of gun meant to protect school against mass shootings
Officials at an Ohio elementary school were shocked to learn that a gun stored on campus was found by two first-grade students who picked it up and removed it from its case.
The gun was reportedly used as part of a training program for concealed carry, meant to PROTECT children on campus from a campus shooter.
Instead, two first graders found the gun and removed it from an UNLOCKED case.
This incident took place in March, and has only recently come to light in a town near Columbus. The incident has sparked a renewed flurry of debate about guns on campus.
