Good morning, News Viewers, and welcome to the first Talko Day of March.
Hey, guess what Californians? Are you ready for another pounding because we haven’t had enough this year?!?!
California may, ( “still too early” to tell by some reports), experience another Atmospheric River event, which can result in a ton of rain on Friday, “…but an inch and a half to 3 inches are expected Thursday to Sunday, with the heaviest rainfall on Friday.”
Yeah, fun, huh?! I’m never going to get my new roof! This has gone on way too freaking long! It all began the day after Christmas and has pretty much not stopped. Sure, we had a few nice and dry days, a couple even hit the upper 60s and I was loving life, but this has been the oddest and coldest winter I can recall, seriously.
So, today I will go out back and pick up anything that overturned during the last storm, double check if there is anything else that needs addressing, and then just spend the rest of the week indoors. So far, the National Weather Service hasn’t issued any ‘wind advisory’ or ‘high wind warnings’ yet; they say it should be ‘breezy’ on Friday. I don’t think I can do another day or night of hurricane style winds. I’m in California, not Florida, thankfully.
Enjoy the day and be safe! Can we just get some spring, please?
