Minnesota GOP Senate candidate: ‘The bad guys won in WWII’-Another Black Nazi
As the control of the Senate hangs in the balance, GOP candidates across the country are facing a similar problem: Troubling and bizarre past statements, both in-person and on social media, are coming back to haunt them. But in Minnesota, Royce White is an even more extreme case.
In a tweet from 2022 that has since resurfaced, White claims that “‘bad guys” won the second world war, saying, “The bad guys won in WWII. There were no ‘good guys’ in that war. The controlling interests had a jump ball. If you look closely, you see the link between liberalism and communism in the Allied forces.”

U.S. adds 254,000 jobs and unemployment declines, blowing away expectations
Hiring sped up in September, while August’s total was revised higher, as scrutiny on the economy increases ahead of the election.
The U.S. added 254,000 jobs in September, far exceeding expectations, while the unemployment rate fell from 4.2% in August to 4.1%.
Forecasts were for 150,000 new jobs added last month. Data from previous months were also revised upward: August by 17,000 to 159,000, and July by 55,000 to 144,000.
Economists had expected the unemployment rate to be unchanged at 4.2%.
Dow closes at record high after blow-out jobs report
The U.S. added 254,000 jobs in September, far more than forecast by economists.
Stocks advanced on Friday after an expectation-defying jobs report gave investors confidence around the health of the economy.
The S&P 500 rose 0.9% to 5,751.07, while the Nasdaq Composite jumped 1.22% to 18,137.85. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 341.16 points, or 0.81%, to notch an all-time closing high of 42,352.75.

Man admits to killing geese at golf course near Springfield
A man was charged last month for killing two geese at a golf course near Springfield.
Brian Comer, 64, pleaded guilty on Sept. 18 to a misdemeanor charge connected to shooting geese with a shotgun at Rocky Lakes golf course in Greene Twp., according to Clark County Municipal Court.
