Jim Jordan Walks Out of Sexual Harassment Coverup Hearing

Jim Jordan attended a hearing on the coverups of sexual harassment, and left after an hour after it started.

A House Judiciary Committee hearing on judicial sexual harassment featured the testimony of Olivia Warren, a clerk for Ninth Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt. Ms. Warren detailed her experience in being harassed by her former boss and the fear of retaliation she felt if revealing the experience, waiting to speak out until after he had passed in 2018.

Jordan has been accused of covering up sexual harassment at Ohio State University during his time as a wrestling coach there. Several wrestlers reported being molested by Dr. Richard Strauss.

Earlier this week, a former OSU wrestling captain told the Ohio House Civil Justice Committee that Jordan had asked him to help cover up the sex abuse scandal.
